Sen. Fazio & Harding Statement on House Dems’ Energy Policy Press Conference

Sen. Ryan Fazio and Sen. Minority Leader Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding today’s CT House Democrats Energy Policy Press Conference:

“Connecticut residents are begging their elected officials to do something about high electricity costs.

Republicans have been offering specific plans to do just that for the last two years, making affordability the ultimate focus of any policy decision made on energy.

We can and have to do much better in this state.

We hope to work with our Democratic colleagues to get these common sense ideas passed into law.

Further, we believe that common sense includes removing this public benefit off the electric bills of the hard-working men and women of Connecticut.”
