Sen. Sampson Responds to Connecticut’s August Employment Report - CT Senate Republic

Hartford – State Sen. Rob Sampson (R-16) issued the following statement regarding Connecticut’s August Employment Report (https://www1.ctdol.state.ct.us/lmi/laborsit.asp):

“Connecticut’s labor force has declined by nearly 3% over the past 12 months.

Total employment in Connecticut is down by nearly 4% over the past 12 months.

Anyone see the troubling pattern?

We’re going in the wrong direction.

As Connecticut becomes more and more unaffordable under one-party Democrat rule, does anyone expect those negative trends to change?

Republicans have a plan to lower taxes for middle class families by $2 billion. Making Connecticut more affordable will help grow our economy. Send more Republicans to the State Capitol if you want a more affordable Connecticut.”
