GOP Statement on vice chair of CSCU Board of Regents resigning

Sen. Henri Martin and Sen. Jeff Gordon issued the following statement regarding the vice chair of the CSCU Board of Regents resigning.

“The mess at CSCU just gets messier.

The individual who was leading the search for the new Chancellor has cited an overall ‘no-win situation’ and ‘dysfunctional culture’ at CSCU with no further details.

So, what now?

Who is now leading the search process?

Does anyone know what is going on?

This is a higher education system which requires $1.2 billion a year from already overburdened Connecticut taxpayers to run.

Taxpayers, students and staff deserve leadership, transparency and accountability.

They aren’t getting any of that right now, but Republicans will continue to push for it.”
