CTDOT is announcing that replacement of speed limit signs will be performed on local roads in various towns across Connecticut starting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be shoulder closures and alternating one way traffic on local roads from Wednesday, July 1, 2026 to Saturday, July 31, 2027. Traffic control signing patterns, uniformed flaggers and/or municipal police officers will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
