Sen. Sampson Applauds Approval of Funding for Prospect Water Main Project - CT Senate Republic

Prospect— State Senator Rob Sampson (R-16) today welcomed the approval of $200,000 in state bond funding for the Town of Prospect’s Coachlight Circle water main project.

The funding was approved by the State Bond Commission and will support infrastructure improvements designed to enhance the reliability and safety of water service for local residents.

“Reliable infrastructure is one of the most basic responsibilities of government,” said Sen. Sampson. “This funding will help address an urgent need and ensure residents in the area have dependable water service for years to come.”

Sen. Sampson noted that while he frequently raises concerns about excessive state spending and government growth, investments in essential infrastructure that directly benefit local communities are an appropriate use of public resources.

“There is a big difference between expanding government bureaucracy and investing in critical infrastructure,” Sen. Sampson said. “Projects like this solve real problems, improve quality of life, and provide a direct benefit to the people who live and work in our communities.”

The Coachlight Circle water main project will help strengthen local infrastructure and improve service reliability for Prospect residents.
