“Remember it.” CT Senate GOP Statement on Newly Disclosed PURA Documents - CT Senate Republic

Several members of the CT Senate Republican Caucus issued the following statement regarding the release of documents by the Connecticut Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) which highlight how PURA may have ignored or bent state laws under the leadership of its former chairman Marissa Gillett in order to manipulate the outcome of proceedings. Better and better.

That’s how we continue to feel about our Senate Republican caucus’s decision to get up and walk out on the vote on Gillett’s nomination.

And it now appears that PURA under Gillett did not act transparently, inclusively, or lawfully.

Remember how Gov. Lamont stuck with her and brazenly blamed the media for asking questions?

We do.

Remember it as you open up your unaffordable monthly electricity bills.”
