Sen. Harding Statement on Human Trafficking Prevention Month
January 5, 2026
Sen. Stephen Harding today issued the following statement regarding Human Trafficking Prevention Month:
“The Senate Republican Caucus commends state officials, local law enforcement, the FBI, the Connecticut Lodging Association and the media for raising public awareness about human trafficking, how to prevent tragedies, and holding perpetrators accountable. This must be a united team effort as well as a coordinated, ongoing, bipartisan priority.
For anyone who is a victim of trafficking, you can call local law enforcement or the FBI or the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 for help. You can also call 211 to be put in touch with someone who can get you to a specialist for help.”
