Sen. Harding Statement on CT Being Among Most Expensive States for Raising a Child

Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding a recent study which ranked Connecticut among the most expensive states for raising a child.

“Yet another study, and yet another example of how unaffordable Connecticut is.

Property taxes are way too high, electricity bills are crushing family budgets, and health insurance rates jump by double digits annually.

Now, our farmers are seeing their taxes spike.

For Democrats to pat themselves on the back on making Connecticut ‘more affordable’ is disingenuous.”
