CT Senate GOP Statement on Shooting & Killing of National Guardsmen

On behalf of the Senate Republican Caucus, Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding the shooting and killing of National Guardsmen just blocks from the White House today.

“Heartbreaking and devastating.

We pray for the Guardsmen’s families.

We pray for the safety of law enforcement officers throughout our nation and their families.

We must also see justice served swiftly regarding the perpetrator of this heinous violence.”
