“Nearly a year ago, we Republicans noted how this raises a host of troubling red flags.

Are these sham marriages? Is marriage fraud occurring? Is the system being abused?

This involves non-citizens and vulnerable young women. This also impacts Connecticut taxpayers.

This conversation must continue. Republicans will introduce common sense legislation to address any loopholes in the law that are enabling this to happen.”
