CT Senate GOP Statement on Child Advocate Appointment

Sen. Jason Perillo, Sen. Eric Berthel and Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding the governor’s appointment of Christina Ghio as Child Advocate.

“This is a key advocacy position in a critical government agency.

The top priority must be to tirelessly demand transparency and accountability with regard to taxpayer funded services for vulnerable children.

We thank Attorney Ghio for her state service to date, and we look forward to the nominations process.”
