CT Senate GOP Condemns Alleged Threats to CT Democrat Lawmakers

On behalf of the Senate Republican Caucus, Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding the report that a Rocky Hill man faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening a Jewish state senator multiple times and a group of Democratic state lawmakers on Oct. 18.

“Connecticut Senate Republicans condemn these vile threats in the strongest of terms.

We are relieved that Sen. Matthew Lesser and our other colleagues are safe.

We will continue to call out all forms of political violence.

We thank law enforcement and state prosecutors for their work.”
