CT Senate GOP Statement Regarding Kirk Assassination Suspect in Custody

For Immediate Release 

On behalf of the Connecticut Senate Republican Caucus, Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding the announcement that the suspect in the assassination of Charlie Kirk is in custody.

“Thank you to federal, state and local law enforcement for working night and day to apprehend the suspect.

As justice is pursued to the fullest extent of the law, we continue to mourn his loss.

We also continue to extend our deepest sympathies to Charlie’s family, friends, and all who were inspired by his leadership.

May Charlie rest in peace, and may our nation find the resolve to end political violence in all its forms.”
