“Awful.” CT Senate GOP Lawmakers on Shelton Street Takeover

Sen. Jason Perillo (R-Shelton), Sen. Paul Cicarella, Sen. Henri Martin and Sen. Stephen Harding issued the following statement regarding a boy who was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning during a street takeover in Shelton.

“Awful. The mayhem in our communities must stop.

We see it happening across our state on a frequent basis.

Seriously injuring juveniles. Destroying property. Putting lives in danger.

More deterrents to the chaos on our streets must be put in place.”
