“We thought this news was a joke.” CT Senate GOP Statement on Latest Bridgeport Ballot Arrest - CT Senate Republic

Sen. Rob Sampson and Sen. Stephen Harding today issued the following statement regarding Wanda Geter-Pataky, the woman at the center of the Bridgeport election fraud scandal getting arrested again, this time being accused of violating the conditions of her release by contacting some of the witnesses expected to testify against her. “You simply cannot make this stuff up. We thought this arrest news was a joke. Turns out the joke’s on all Connecticut residents.

When will one-party rule Connecticut Democrats at the State Capitol admit and acknowledge what the rest of the state sees? We need election integrity reform.

Gov. Lamont doesn’t care. He does nothing about it. That’s arrogance.

Republicans have been shouting from the rooftops about this even prior to the viral Bridgeport ballot stuffing videos which made Connecticut a national embarrassment. Connecticut Democrats have shown zero interest in ensuring election integrity and have repeatedly voted ‘no’ on Republicans’ repeated efforts to fix this obviously broken system.

So the punchlines will continue with no end in sight.

Isn’t that right, Gov. Lamont?”
