Sen. Perillo statement on DCF Commissioner Announcing Retirement

HARTFORD, CT – Sen. Jason Perillo (R-Shelton), Ranking Senator on the Committee on Children, issued the following statement regarding Department of Children and Families Commissioner Jodi Hill-Lilly announcing her plan to retire after a 37-year career at DCF.

“For nearly four decades, Commissioner Hill-Lilly has dedicated herself to helping and protecting Connecticut’s most vulnerable children. This is often thankless work, but I know I speak for many across our state when I say, ‘thank you’ for those many years of service in a variety of challenging roles at DCF while serving as a mentor to fellow DCF staff.”
