“He isn’t sure?” CT Senate GOP Statement on Fed Investigation into Hartford $$$

Sen. Rob Sampson, Sen. Henri Martin and Sen. Stephen Harding today issued the following statement regarding the ongoing federal investigation into how tens of millions of dollars are being distributed among and spent by several non profit social service organizations operating in Hartford.

That’s quite concerning.

The governor was asked if the state of Connecticut has cut off funding for The Prosperity Foundation, which was involved in a loss of $500,000 in a wire transfer attempt.

He said he isn’t sure.

He isn’t sure?

Is he pursuing that important answer? We would hope it’s a top priority. Taxpayers deserve to know.”
