Sen. Ryan Fazio, Sen. Heather Somers, Sen. Rob Sampson, Sen. Eric Berthel and Sen. Stephen Harding are raising questions about former President Joe Biden’s Jan. 17 grant of clemency to Adrian Peeler, a Bridgeport man convicted of conspiracy in a brutal double murder that led the state to create a witness protection program, and Peeler’s release from federal prison today.

“Former President Biden’s outrageous grant of clemency was a terrible miscarriage of justice. If it was indeed done via autopen, it raises questions about the legitimacy of that executive action.

A heinous crime was committed in Bridgeport.

What about the victims of that extreme violence?

They have been rendered voiceless.”
