“Ratepayers in Bristol and across Connecticut are begging for relief. For years, Senate Republicans and I have been offering common sense solutions to lower our outrageous electric bills. This is a small, but positive step forward. Our electric rates are still much too high. That’s unacceptable. We must eliminate the public benefits charge. I will keep working to deliver much more relief for overburdened and frustrated consumers.”
