CT Senate GOP Statement on Hamas Co-Founder’s Elimination

Sen. Stephen Harding, on behalf of the Senate Republican Caucus, issued the following statement regarding Israel’s military’s elimination of a founding Hamas military leader responsible for planning the Oct. 7 attack.

“Good. Hamas is a terror group that has in its mission statement the eradication of the Jewish people. The Connecticut Senate Republicans will always stand with our strong ally Israel and its citizens in their efforts to hold all Hamas operatives accountable for the heinous massacre that happened on Oct. 7.”

The Hamas military leader was one of the final remaining founding members of the terrorist organization’s military wing and played a crucial role in the Oct. 7 attack.
