Sen. Martin Celebrates CT Manufacturers

Sen. Henri Martin recently joined manufacturers and a bipartisan group of legislators to celebrate “Manufacturing Day” at the State Capitol.

“This event brought hundreds of students to the State Capitol to learn about the innovative products that are made right here in Connecticut,” Sen. Martin said. “As lawmakers, it is very helpful for us to speak directly to our manufacturers in addition to young people who are interested in pursuing manufacturing as a career. As the Ranking Senator on the legislature’s Commerce Committee, I am proud of the collaborative work we do to help manufacturers grow and foster entrepreneurship. Central Connecticut has a rich history of manufacturing and it is always inspiring to see area job creators showcasing their products here in The People’s House.”
