May 7, 2025

Sen. “This is a positive step.
The mayhem in our communities must stop.
We see it happening across our state on a frequent basis.
Putting lives in danger. Sapping law enforcement resources. Destroying property.
Deterrents to the chaos on our streets must be put in place.
We must get this over the finish line and make Connecticut safer.”
The bill now awaits a vote in the House of Representatives.
