CT Senate GOP on Appropriations Committee Proudly Vote “Yes” to Support CT State Trooper Salary Increases

Senate Republican Members of the Appropriations Committee today proudly voted “yes” to support salary increases for Connecticut State Troopers.

“Senate Republicans very much appreciate the work done by our state troopers.  Our State Police need to recruit – and retain – the best.  They are currently short-staffed.  These increases will help to address the staff shortage and continue to help them recruit top talent while keeping our communities safe.”

Senate Republicans who serve on the Appropriations Committee include Sen. Heather Somers, Sen. Stephen Harding, Sen. Eric Berthel, and Sen. Jeff Gordon.
