“There’s a hidden billion-dollar tax on Connecticut ratepayers’ bills.
That’s ‘billion’ with a ‘B’, and it’s a big factor in why our electricity bills are so unaffordable.
For two and half years, Republicans have been shouting from the rooftops about the need to get that tax off our bills.
We will continue to work with anyone at the State Capitol to accomplish that goal.
People are begging for relief. The Republican plan will provide that relief to the tune of more than $600 a year for working families.”
