CT Senate GOP Statement Regarding NJ Unauthorized Drone Activity

Sen. Paul Cicarella, Sen. Jeff Gordon, Sen. Tony Hwang and Sen. Stephen Harding today issued the following statement regarding unauthorized drone activity over New Jersey communities.

“There have been multiple confirmed sightings over New Jersey neighborhoods and military installations.

They raise questions about how Connecticut would handle similar malicious drone activity situations in Connecticut airspace.

Safety, transparency and public information must be our priority here in Connecticut in order to address any potential misinformation and rumors while ensuring security.”
