Sen. Harding Applauds $$ for Cornwall & Sharon Broadband Buildout

Sen. Stephen Harding, who represents Cornwall and Sharon, today applauded the announcement of state grant funding to support the buildout of broadband infrastructure in those towns.

$953,909 will be put toward 148 SNET project locations in Cornwall and Sharon.

“It’s excellent news,” said Sen. Harding, who serves as the Ranking Senator on the legislature’s Environment Committee. “This significant funding will improve access to high-speed internet in Cornwall and Sharon. I thank the governor and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for addressing the needs of northwestern Connecticut residents, businesses and visitors.”
