Simsbury Lawmakers Honor Volunteer Fire Company

SIMSBURY – State Rep. Melissa Osborne (D-Simsbury) and State Sen. Lisa Seminara (R-Avon) attended a special ceremony revealing a sign honoring the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Memorial Highway. The lawmakers presented the fire company and its volunteers with an official State of Connecticut citation, recognizing 80 years of outstanding public service and community spirit. The event was held on Wednesday, July 24 at the Simsbury Fire House on Hopmeadow Street.
