July 16, 2024
Sen. Jeff Gordon, who represents Chaplin, today applauded the state’s award of $752,000 for the Chaplin Connectivity and Accessibility Project.
“These funds will make Chaplin safer for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists alike,” Sen. Gordon said. “I appreciate the governor’s and the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s attention to this important Chaplin infrastructure initiative.”
The grant was awarded through CTDOT’s Community Connectivity Grant Program which seeks to make conditions safer and more accommodating for pedestrians and bicyclists in urban, suburban, and rural centers.
