All CT Senate Republicans Receive Perfect Scores for Voting Records on Jobs and Economic Growth

Senate Republican Leader Stephen Harding and the entire Senate Republican Caucus have been recognized by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) for their 100 percent pro-business voting record on key bills that CBIA identified as critical to the state’s business community and overall economic growth.

“I’m so proud of the entire Senate Republican Caucus’s record of support for job creators both in our home districts and across the state,” Sen. Harding said. “Connecticut Senate Republicans will continue to back measures which help grow our economy, develop our workforce, lower tax burdens, eliminate burdensome mandates and make our state more prosperous. We will also continue to speak out against potential job-killing policies that are offered by majority Democrats year after year.”

CBIA identified key bills from the 2024 legislative session that make up the framework for a legislator’s voting record. Legislators were scored based on their opposition or support for these measures relative to the business community’s positions.
