Sen. Harding Statement on Rep. Howard’s Remarks About Thin Blue Line Flag Controversy in Wethersfield

Sen. Republican Leader Stephen Harding issued the following statement in reaction to Rep. Greg Howard’s remarks about the thin blue line flag controversy in Wethersfield.

“Rep. Howard is absolutely correct. The policies passed by the majority Democrats here in Connecticut continue to make our state less safe while tying law enforcement’s hands and lowering police morale. Our Senate Republican caucus stands with Rep. Howard and the House Republican caucus in our strong support for law enforcement. We applaud Rep. Howard for speaking out so forcefully in calling out the recent disgraceful and insulting statements that were made.”
