Senator John A. Kissel Statement on the Retirement of Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson

HARTFORD – Senator John A. Kissel, Ranking Member of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee, released the following statement regarding the retirement announcement of Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson from the Connecticut Supreme Court effective September 6, 2024:

“Chief Justice Robinson has proved to be an excellent jurist serving with honor and impartiality throughout his career. His legacy in our state’s judicial system will leave a positive impact on our society for years to come. His passion for public service is truly admirable. Chief Justice Robinson’s retirement after four decades of service to the people of Connecticut is well-deserved, and I wish him well in this exciting new chapter of his life.”
