Sen. Seminara highlights Canton-based woman-owned biz

CANTON – To commemorate Women’s History Month, Sen. Lisa Seminara on Mar. 27 visited Applegate Farm Market co-owner Karen Bahre.

Bahre, who co-owns Applegate Farm Market with her husband Robert, discussed their motivation for operating the business, which is located in the Canton Village Shopping Plaza at 220 Albany Tpke.

“This small business has been a staple in the Canton community for decades,” Sen. Seminara said. “Local products. Local produce. Quality baked goods. Customers walk away with smiles on their faces. This is a labor of love for Karen, and we thank her for her tireless entrepreneurship.”
