for advocacy on behalf of CT seniors

Sen. Lisa Seminara, the Ranking Senator on the Aging Committee, on Oct. 26 was honored by the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home for her work to improve the lives of Connecticut’s seniors.  Sen. Seminara received recognition as a “2023 Legislator of the Year” for her work with fellow legislators on the Aging Committee.

At the State Capitol this year, Sen. Seminara helped pass bipartisan legislation to protect seniors from scams and abuse. She also has been a strong advocate for policies which improve elderly services and home care services which enable seniors to remain in their homes while receiving quality care.

“Providing better care for our seniors continues to be my focus, and I am honored and humbled to receive this recognition,” Sen. Seminara said.
