Sampson questions former Connecticut Secretary of the State and current executive director of 100% Democracy: An Initiative for Universal Voting, Miles Rapoport about a bill that mandates participation in the state’s elections. Sen. Sampson argues that the measure essentially dissolves a free citizen’s ability to exercise this right if they so choose and is therefore an infringement on our individual freedom.
