In Ansonia: “Let’s Celebrate!”

At Mead Elementary School in Ansonia Friday, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month.  I am so proud of my Hispanic heritage – my parents moved to the U.S. from Guatemala.

I was honored to speak to kindergarten and first grade students at Mead about my Hispanic heritage and also play some guitar for them.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we pay tribute to generations of Hispanic Americans who have enriched our country. Thanks everybody!
