State Senator Tony Hwang provides resources as Gov. Lamont extends public school closures through at least April 20.
March 24, 2020
Friends,
My family, like most families are, beginning our second full week of school being closed. Adjusting to a “new normal” for our children’s learning environments is more important than ever since yesterday Governor Lamont announced that he has extended the mandated school closings to April 20, and possibly further.
To those who are parents or are entrusted with the care of a child, there are plenty of supplemental learning activities to keep their minds engaged and that will maintain the habit of learning. Below is a list of some programs that might be helpful.
