State Senator Stephen Harding invites you to a Veteran’s Wartime Service Medal Ceremony

Veterans and currently serving military members, or their families, can apply to receive the Connecticut Wartime Service Medal in honor of their service to the United States. We encourage all veterans, or their family members, to apply for the application and join us for a special ceremony at 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 17th 2026, at New Milford High School. - Eligibility: To receive the Connecticut Veterans Medal, the veteran must meet all of the following requirements.
- Qualifying military wartime service: 90 days active wartime service (unless the war or operation lasted less than 90 days)
- Honorable or under Honorable conditions (or discharge due to injuries received in the line of duty)
- Current (or deceased) resident of Connecticut or a resident of Connecticut at the time of qualifying wartime service.
- Common Forms Required: (Others may be needed)
- Eligibility: To receive the Connecticut Veterans Medal, the veteran must meet all of the following requirements.
